Open the Gmail app on your smartphone.
Open the email (message) of the person you want to block in Gmail.
Now, tap on the More option which is shown as three dots (…) on the right top corner.
In the pop-up menu, tap on the option of “Block” and the sender’s name. From now on, all future emails from this sender will go directly to your spam folder, until you unblock them.
Click OK to confirm that you want to send all future emails to this address directly to your spam folder.
Now the contact will be blocked.
